Tilia
A sculptural light form where modularity meets the poetry of living structures.

Tilia is not just a chandelier—it is a luminous organism, a sculptural system that seems to grow and evolve organically in space. Designed for Foscarini, Tilia draws inspiration from nature’s invisible rules: the branching of trees, coral reefs, the veins of a leaf. Its forms appear spontaneous and fluid, yet they follow precise mathematical principles, echoing the beauty of Fibonacci sequences and fractals.

The modularity of Tilia allows it to expand gracefully, adapting to both intimate corners and open, theatrical spaces. Composed of a few essential elements—two arms and two joints—it can be reconfigured into vertical or horizontal compositions that preserve a balance between order and organic freedom. At the tips of its branching metal structure, opaline borosilicate glass diffusers emit a soft, cloud-like light, enveloping the surroundings in a gentle glow.

Every detail in Tilia has a narrative function. The connection points are not hidden—they become decorative accents: small, contrasting metal spheres that resemble botanical buds or embedded jewels. This expressive choice highlights the construction, celebrating imperfection, asymmetry, and the poetry of evolution. Tilia is a luminous presence that doesn’t dominate the space but inhabits it with grace and a quiet sense of wonder.

Available in two configurations—compact and vertical, or wide and scenographic—and in three colors (teal, magenta, and rosy white), Tilia offers versatile solutions for residential and contract settings. Like a new luminous species, it transforms any room with its delicate presence, inviting us to embrace imperfection, asymmetry, and the emotional resonance of nature translated into light.
