Its generous curves are traced by an oversized padded leather tube, woven into a striking architectural motif that outlines the backrest with graphic intensity. The result is a visual rhythm of solids and voids, a tactile topography that invites both admiration and repose.
Designed for Trussardi Casa, Saturna reimagines traditional weaving through the lens of contemporary luxury. Its defining element — a supple leather cord with couture-level detailing; transforms a functional support into a statement of craftsmanship. Evoking echoes of open-air classics like the Acapulco chair, Saturna reinvents the genre with plush proportions and indoor opulence, where fashion-forward innovation meets artisanal precision.
The leather tube, developed exclusively for this project and crafted by expert hands in Tuscany, becomes both structure and ornament. Its presence lends Saturna a theatrical elegance — part retro fantasy, part modern icon. At once playful and noble, the chair captures a tension between nostalgia and futurism, balancing comfort with bold expression.
